The Winters Cemetery District's source of revenue generate from Property Tax Revenues, Sale of Burial Rights of plots and Burial services.

The Winters Cemetery District offers various options and fees for burials of loved ones.  Our services include both in-ground full casket burials as well as in-ground cremation burials.  Each in-ground plot has the option of one casket burial with two cremation burials or three cremation burials per plot. Our upright granite columbarium niches can accomodate two regular sized urns for cremation interments.  Our most recent price list, effective 11/12/2025, is attached for reference.

The cemetery operations staff conduct burial services Monday through Friday between 9:00 A.M and 1:00 P.M. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. To arrange burial services or to schedule a consultation appointment, please call 530-795-2475.

*NOTE: Per California Health and Safety Code Section 9060(b) the Winters Cemetery District shall limit interments to: 1) residence of the District (see service area map), 2) those who acquired interment rights while they were resdents of the District, 3) property owners who pay property tax in the District, 4) eligible nonresidents of the District as provided in this chapter or Section 9061. A non-resident fee will be assessed for eligable non-resident burials.
